Well yes its that time if the year, OKTOBERFEST (WIESN for all you Germans). I know what all you Americans are thinking... "it's not october yet?..." Well just to let you know Oktoberfest is celebrated in the middle of September and ends on the first weekend of Oktober... so there, Oktoberfest. Well today was opening day, I had friends who showed up at 6am so they could get a spot at one of the Bier Tents (not a drinker... so I wasn't gonna get up that early). Instead I got there an hour before it started, 11 a.m., yep, the parade of Bier goes through the city of Munich and meets right at the Oktoberfest, then the mayor busts open the first keg and well... its all drinking from there. Sow what does a Mormon girl do at Oktoberfest? Eat delicious German Wursts, go on rides, walk around and enjoy the atmosphere, watch people who are drunk and laugh, plus so much more... might I just add... I love it.
Sort of like my fat lady dress... but its Lederhosen that can fit two fat men...
Love Lederhosen!
Looks like Ireland showed up...
One of the tents... (All Bier is Munich Brewed)
Bringing in the kegs by horse carriage, snapped a quick shot...
Pretty horsies...
I look so German.
Who knew you could celebrate Oktoberfest in the past?
New German boyfriend???! <3 br="">3>
I love this place.
Another tent...
and another...
More kegs, they come through constantly ALLLLL day.
Some Lederhosen should be outlawed.
Munich.
